The New Principle Chriopractic

IN OUR SOCIETY THE OLD HEALTH MODEL WE ALL GREW UP WITH SAYS:

- the body is dumb

- doctors are smart

-symptoms are bad and should be suppressed

How is it possible that God gave us a body, which creates 3 million new cells every minute and controls and co-ordinates numerous organs and systems, that could be dumb?

When we use drugs to suppress symptoms, we interfere with the body's natural methods of getting itself well.

IN CHIROPRACTIC, WE UNDERSTAND THAT:

- the body is smart, created in the image and likeness of God.

- doctors DO NOT have all the answers.

- symptoms are your body's way of telling you there is something happening that needs your attention or it is the body healing itself.

There is only one healer. It IS NOT a pill or a shot. It is your body itself and the

God-given intelligence within. Your body always knows what to do, unless it is interfered with.

Chiropractic attempts to remove interference. Chiropractic DOES NOT treat the symptoms or disease. Chiropractic DOES NOT cure the disease, for this can only be accomplished by nature from within.

“There exist san intelligence in man far greater than any intelligence that exists outside man. Each patient is his own best doctor.”

-Albert Scweitzer, M.D.

Exercise Is Bad For Your Heart!!

New Study Shows That Exercise Is Bad For Your Heart!!!

Recently released in the New York Times (March 9, 2011), an article is telling people not to exercise due to the damage it causes to your heart.

The study looked at top national and Olympic runners across the United States that had run at least 100 marathons.  The results were staggering.  Nearly half these athletes had showed signs of heart muscle scarring.  That means the excessive exercise and stress they put onto their body actually damaged their hearts.  The research effectively shows that years of strenuous cardiovascular exercise can damage your heart.

So you might be saying to yourself, “I don’t run marathons.”  But like most Americans we are taught to believe that the proper exercise regiment means running on a treadmill or elliptical machine for hours every day to lose weight.  Weight loss being the major goal in all these workouts.  Some of you think, “Awesome, I don’t work out anyway.” Which means you never use your heart and it is creating disease from lack of use.

So what should you do???

Surge training…

Surge training is one of the newest forms of exercise that has proven to help people lose weight, keep the weight off and create HEALTH in the body.  And the best news of all is that it only takes 12 minutes a day.  That’s right 12 minutes.  No more 1 hour step and spin classes.  No more P90x. I means seriously, who has 90 minutes every day to workout.  Plus you get longer lasting results, more energy and get in great shape.

Surge training is easily the simplest and most convenient workout on the market today and once to try it you will not want to stop.

Join us for our "Intro to Surge Training" held once a month at Lotriet Family Chiropractic to find out more and bring a friend to enjoy the workout with you. Please check our calendar page for upcoming dates and times.
